Delete your account or your data

Find My Phone Launcher, by OverMax. An account is only needed for the optional Find Your Phone From Anywhere feature. Clap and whistle detection works without an account and never sends audio anywhere: it is analysed on the phone and discarded.

Delete your account and all its data

In the app:

1. Open Find My Phone Launcher.
2. Tap the Find My Phone card, then the account icon (top right).
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

On the web:

1. Go to find-my-phone-overmax.web.app and log in.
2. Tap Delete account at the top and confirm.

If you can no longer log in, email overmaxapps@gmail.com from your account's email address and we will delete it within 30 days.

Delete only your phone's data (keep your account)

1. On the phone, open the Find My Phone card and the account icon.
2. Tap Log out. That phone and all its saved data are removed from your account at once.

What is deleted

• Your account: email address, password or Google sign-in link, and account ID.
• For every phone in the account: its saved location and street address, the last time it was seen, battery level, connection type (Wi-Fi or mobile data), and the phone's name and model.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. We keep no copy or backup of this data.

What is kept

• Nothing linked to your account.
• Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports (Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics) are not linked to your account and are deleted automatically after up to 14 months (Analytics) and 90 days (Crashlytics).
• Advertising data handled by Google AdMob follows Google's privacy policy.
• Your alarm settings stay only on your phone until you uninstall the app or clear its data.
